squeaking wiper motor

started last night, really loud squeak on the driver-side motor all the way through the action.

is there a way to stop it or is it new motor time?

You sure its not the wiper itself?

I though there was just "one" motor tor a twin link arm.

If it's squeeking - get the blades replaced

There different sizes so you need an 18" and a 20" blade.

maybe it's the wiper spindle (the bit that turns), they are common to go on p11's so maybe the same for a micra. you should be able to get one from a scrappys. nissan know how to charge for new ones.lol

problem fixed itself, i thought it was the motor because when it started happening it was raining, so i thought it couldn't be the blades (they're quite new aswell)

when i got home i lifted the drivers side blade off the window and it still did it, so assumed it was the motor.

as it turned out it must have been the blades as it now not doing it, i'll not buy halfords blades next time!
