Spotted: 160 SR

If you get the News of The World Today (Sunday 05/06/05) Theres a small pic of a 160SR on two wheels....something to do with some stunt guy is trading his minis in for a micra.

BUT IT IS A 160SR you can tell from the front bumper!

i think the name of its 160R is confusing some people into thinking it has 160 bhp. nissan are copying my style my k11 has been badged 130R for the last few years.

the 110bhp SR is.. quoted as 9.8 to 60.. my standard super s did 9.6

(official k11) is 12 seconds. many people who own a 160sr will say it will be a lot quicker than 9.8 if they do their own 0-60 test with their car.

today i saw a 1.2 micra brand new in for pdi and it has near enough the same styling as the 160 bumper and side skirts but its called sport+ and the dials where like a rover 75 a gone off white colour

the 9.8 figure is also a 0-62mph one so it will be quicker than this to 60mph.
fiesta 1.6 zetec s is 9.9 to fill you in.
this micra 1.6 should see 120bhp easy with usualy filter and exhaust mods which can be done without waiting for branded tuners to make parts for it.

a custom manifold would be very expensive. but a jap tuning company will probably make some soon. could import one of those. you never know some french or english tuners may be interested in this car.

Japs are not getting the 1.6. There making do with the 12sr.

and from my understanding its possible this could be a french engine....oh no...
