Split vacuum / breather hose - Poor MPG?

Hi guys

Just want to check, would a split breather hose from the rocker cover going to the throttle body/inlet area effect the MPG? I used to be able to get 450 miles from £40 and now it's doing half that. Had a recent small service and passed MOT with no issues and the only thing i can see is this hose which is nearly split in half.

This is for my Corsa by the way

not sure if it would cause the poor mpg mate but it`s got to be worth a try surely

Don't think it should be a problem... I haven't got the vacuum hose on the back of my throttle body, it split when I changed bodies and haven't got around to replacing it

Split vacuum hoses can cause cars to run rubbish or not run at all so it may well be causing your problem. Get it swapped asap either way.
