short shifter help

Hi everyone.

i'm new here and i've just bought a L reg Micra. 1.0L 5spd manual.

After reading up here about other peoples mods, i've gone and ordered a nissan pulsar shifter from ebay. But the problem is I don't know how to install it.

I would be very grateful if anyone could post up instructions, with or without pictures. Preferrably with pics!

So, nobody knows?

I've done a quick shift install on my rx8 and that was pretty straight forward. All done from inside the car, just a few 10mm bolts to unscrew. Seems a bit different on the micra. I've removed the grey insulation below the gear stick and taken off the 2 top bolts, but 2 bottom ones are a problem. They are almost flat and I don't know how to open it. My method might be totally wrong though.

I've ordered a haynes manual online, but still waiting for that to be delivered.
