does any one know how to remove the rails from the seat??
or anyone that has modified other seats to fit in a micra how did you do it???

i did it properly and bought bride rails. some have used hopes and dreams along with scrap bits of metal.

scrap bits of metal is the dodgy way

the expensive way is to do what turbo did, first make sure you've got a money tree...

third way is to buy some nice late model seats, strip them off the frame and install the foam and other bits onto the micra seat frames

yeah you wreck a set of micra seats, but they are farkoff ugly as anyway so its no big loss

Umm, I'd say custom made rails are more expensive in general than going and buying premade rails from japland. Can pick up seat rails on yahoo jp for relatively cheap and then all you need is a seat to match (probably better off getting one second hand locally).
