Roof Bars

Hi,
Could anyone tell me what the difference is between the roofbar set for the 5 door K12 and the 3 door? They have 2 different part numbers but I can't think why they should be different...

Would the 5 door bars fit on a 3 door ok?

they arent longer or wider......

the only thing i can think of is the doors getting in the way.

but way do you want to know? just buy the one for your car.

Rik, Good thought, Iff you meant by that, it's to do with the 5 door having different roof gutter line due to the rear doors, then you could be right.

Going to go out and find a 5 door to check against.....

The Nissan Almera roofbars for the 5dr clip into the door shuts, on the 3dr the brackets are longer and clip under the rear window seam.

Could be the same on the Micra

Thanks Cat, sounds most likely. The 'feet' of one bar are much further apart than the other... Think I'll have to keep my eye's out for the right ones then....
