Rear heated windscreen lines broken

the two in the middle (it would be wouldnt it) have never worked since i got the car and ive found why. there are breaks in the lines running across the window so the current cant pass i suppose. i was thinking of cutting a really thing bit of tin foil and super glueing it in place making sure i leave gaps in the glueing to fix the break. is this a good idea? whats the best way to go about this?

you can actually buy a repair paint for the heated rear screen and its only about a tenner

Use a ruler when ur applying it or it can go a bit skew-wif and a bit messy- does the job tho!

I can vouch for this repair kit I had to make around 7 repairs to restore 5 lines

Its amaising having a full rear screen heater...all clears dead quick

the only thing to remember after its tone is to take care when cleaning the inside of the window after the the repairs as the repair paint will catch on the cloth etc and could break again

I used masking tape above and below and either side for the maskin
