Update: After the clutch and ignition and throttle body resolder, the car is working fine. Fingers crossed.
Now I have the code but the LCD display shows one dash only.
Is it end of life of the radio cassette or does it mean the unit is now locked?
I have just had two attempts at entering radio code on a blank screen. The unit did not work. It means either the code is wrong or the unit is locked.
Any help would be appreciated.
