The LCD screen on my radio does not work correctly. It just shows a few lines but the radio still works. I bought a replacement radio off ebay but I have since discovered it is hard coded to the ecu / immo. The replacement radio just shows a blank screen.
My next idea was to replace the front panel from the old non working LCD radio with the front panel of the replacement. However the result was the same. A partially working screen. ( The Seller assured me the screen was working ).
This leads me to believe that either it's the radio that is the problem or the connection between the radio and the front panel.
Anyone got any ideas? Anyone ever managed to fix the LCD?
