PLEASE HELP ME!!!

hi. i have a problem with my micra 94 1.3 slx auto. i have had it ever since i passed my test and have had a few problems... but those put aside i will try and explain this as best i can:
i have noticed recently it is very jerky (at first this was especially at 60mph) as if it is jumping out in and out of gear.. almost like a kangaroo! now i just drove 45minutes to work and it was doing this the whole way unless i dropped my speed to around 45/50mph...it has also started cutting out when at traffic lights like it isnt ticking over properly.
if anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated because i dont want to have to ditch this car!

Fuel pump playing up?

I ran my AE86 out of fuel once (fuel gauge not working) and the car was bunnyhopping / pogoing about before it died ...

Maybe fuel's been cut off? Just a thought ...

is the car actually jumping out of gear, or does it just jerk/surge around?

any loss of power before 60mph?

no loss of power before 60mph.. only when idle. i couldnt tell you if it was jumping out of gear as such only that it is pulling backwards and forwards... jerking. i am going to try a new fuel filter today and see if that helps.

so its very rough while idling

b4 u buy the fuel filter, do the throttle body solder fix,

search in the articles section on top

thanks it seems to be better now it has a new fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel cleaner. just at 60mph it is still rather jerky.
