Are these tension bolts like the head bolts? Anyone know what torque they should be tightened too? I followed the Haynes torque spec while checking the clearances but it seem like these should be tighter. Any input would be appreciated.

Hey Frank, I went to about 80nm but the crank was really stiff to turn. Now I'm use engine assembly lube cause the motor will probably sit around for a while after rebuild. Is it normal for the crank to be stiffer to turn when using engine lube?

The manual says 25-30nm,then 60-65 degrees clockwise with angle wrench.
It is mentioned that it is very important not-to tighten them with toque, but to degrees.
