Nah dont think so as theres a few bits from him for really cheap and the same price, either way you will only pay £5 as its contracted

He says "I had the head skimmed and pressure tested before I re-assembled this engine".

I am changing headgasket on my micra.

Do you get it pressure tested when you get head skimmed ??

Well skimmed the head? This guy got the head skimmed for safety reasons, a very light skim to make sure its perfectly flat. I would get it pressure tested, i expect the company who skimmed it woul be ble to advise you.

What do you mean ??

I think it's usually advised to get head skimmed for Aluminium heads particularly where they have overheated, which mine has.

Just wondered who does the pressure testing, the engineering company doing the skimming or a garage or someone else
