Lowering springs?

Just wanted to know is there any specific brands or types that are cheap ish but wont just snap after one bump

Apex are a decent brand, no idea if they do micra ones though. The majority are the same though, so any should do

Apex / Avo / Spax are reputable brands. also heard good things about H&R (though their coilovers).

If your looking for a little more drop than 35 - 40mm Matt Humphris has some springs on his parts list although there a little pricey compared to others.

Just because it's lower doesn't mean it's stiffer

No it doesn't, but the springs will be stiffer. Not much necessarily, but they will be.

Yeah, I don't reckon you'll feel it much till you start dropping more than 50mm. I'm not speaking from experience however.

I have FK automotive springs on mine at 35mm drop. They are stiffer but not uncomfortably so. I did have to put an adjustable panhard rod on still to bring the axle back in line.

Does it take alot to adjust the panhard rod if you have an adjustable one?

No its easy if you get a nodspeed one from noddie on here. Just a couple of spanners.

No problem. Just a little suggestion if you're going down this route. Spray your panhard rod mounting bolts/nuts with wd40 for a few days before. Especially the drivers side mount. I also slightly loosened the nut. This meant I didn't need to grind off the bush inner sleeve.

To save a fair bit of money you could go for Corsa b coil overs on the front modified for the k11 top mounts to fit, i done this and my cars sittin at 90mm all round. ride is pretty solid aswell!
