Low mpg, suggestions?

i own a 1.3 lx k11 with 99000 on the clock,im only getting 80miles to a tenner, wich is alot less than i should, i've changed my fuel filter, oil filter, oil, and air filter, there was a slight improvment, any suggestions why? a guy at work said its the throttle body, as u can smell a slight smell of petrol around the drivers side near the wheel wen the car is running, i dont no tho?

dont forget petrol prices aint the same as they used 2 b also i think 80 outta a tenner is fine...i get that outta my 1.0 lol

i worked out the mpg and the micra 1.3 is supposed to be 35-45 but im getting no were near that, more like 27-34 or something, wich is wrong realy because at least it should be 35, and im driving quite economicaly 99% of the time

Could be ur throttle body is on the way out!
