Forgive me for what might be a thick question but I'm in no way mechanically minded, sadly!
I have a 2003 K12 Micra 1.5 Diesel and got involved in a hit and run yesterday which has damaged my front bumper and bonnet. I need to get these replaced as cheaply as possible and I'm busy scouring through eBay and scrap merchants for reasonably priced replacement parts.
My question is that I note the K12 appears to have been in production from 2003-2010 so is the bodywork exactly the same for those years? In other words am I able to look at parts from models throughout that period or am I restricted to those manufactured in 2003?
Also, on another issue, I wonder if anyone else has experienced a similar problem with the ignition intermittently not starting until about a 20 minute delay? I wonder if it is a problem with the immobiliser and whether anyone can give some tips as to why it happens?
