OK I'm sure many of you know of the annoying long bendy metal aerial, can I remove this and install a smaller, nicer looking one at all?

remove it, fill the hole and put a bee sting type one at the rear of the roof, at least that's what I'm doing.

Sounds like the best thing to do, mine came with one as standard which seemed odd at the time :S

pre-faclifts had the ones above the drivers door on the roof, and the faclifts had them in the middle of the roof near the back of the car... just get a facelift areail and wiring from a scrapyard put it on your pre-facelift.

and i have a rear bee sting aerial for sale, genuine nissan micra one, with antenna, base and cable with stereo connector. basically all you'd need.
