Hi all......with the carb, tanks, pipes cleaned, with new filters, anti-d plunger removed and the tickover solonoid left intact but disconnected..it started straight away !!!!! And seems to run fairly okay.
There is a hint of pinking though.....l have not touched the ignition at all. When it ran (for only 30 minutes) last week, l didnt notice that at all. Have l done something not quite right ??? Should this MA12 run okay on unleaded or should l get an additive or some of that wierd stuff to put in the tank....or retard the ignition a little.....????

Yep standard filter..but the exhuast is a bit shorter and free flowing. I'll try retarding the ignition a bit then. Thanks (Y)

Not much room Its still got the little middle box squeezed in underneath and a motorcycle end can running up the back now......not noisey but a nice note.....:wasntme:
