I'm using 0w-30 Castrol edge fully synthetic oil (titanium fst) is this okay?

If its a high mileage engine then i guess you will be topping it up every week!! Not really a good idea unless your engine was rebuilt!!

I've always used 10/40 semi synthetic

I'm with karlj. Just make sure you do regular changes, perhaps earlier than the service schedule, and keep it sweet
