Ignition warning light

Hello Everyone

I am having a strange problem with my K12 1.0E- it starts fine but occassionally the ignition warning light (battery light) flashes at lower RPM- it does not occur at higher RPM.

Fan belt seems OK. Could this be a faulty alternator?

How would be I go about testing this?

Im new to the Micra

Yes very likely to be a faulty alternator (worn commutator brushes). Change it (the alternator)
