How to remove trim adhesive?

I had to replace a door on my K11, but the only one available had a line of side trim which did not match. The trim was easily removed but the black adhesive used to secure the trim is proving difficult to remove.

Is there an easy method to remove the adhesive?

use abit of petrol that should get it off

WD40 and a toothbrush/cloth combo. I had to do the same with my car, oh and be carefull using petrol it can really mess up the paint.

ya got to let the petrol soak into the adhesive ...........and petrol wont damage the paint just try to keep it down to a minimal on the paint work...........
