micra k11 facelift the heater controls,the temperature control only turns about a third way round then starts to click wether towards hot or cold,it appears something is stopping it turning the full 180,do i have to remove the heater to check control flaps cheers

Mine does the same but when I turn it back a nudge then try again it turns the rest of the way after a bit of resistance.

it appears to hit something then clicks as though its riding over summat,i have tried using one of the other knobs but with same result,it feels like the control cable is jammed.but how do i get to see the control cables,any help would be helpful cheers.

The middle console removed should give line of sight, 2 screws behind ashtray and 2 near top I think, or take the side kick panel off. There are a few bits easy to remove and reassemble
