headgasket bore size?

anyone got any idea on what diameter the bore size is in the standard headgasket? and while were on the subject, what thickness a standard headgasket is?

i bought a nismo headgasket the other day. 72.7 bore size and .3mm thick should be nice for n/a!... reckon i'll get away with using the 72.7 on standard bore?

.. but.. tomei also make metal headgaskets for the cg13. as far as i know, only available in 72.7 bore and 0.7mm thickness, not really any good for a turbo application, unless you go getting custom pistons, etc. auto shop aspect make a 1.5mm and 2.0mm headgasket, as does kappatsu, all will set you back around the $400+ mark, and a plane ticket to japan as both won't deal with non-jap spec people , unless your standing infront of them, and can some how sign language out to them what you want

Do many places custom make metal headgaskets as an alternative to sourcing one from japan? I know a mate who has access to a laser cutting machine.. mwhaha!

yes, pretty sure most places will help you out. i think cometic do custom gaskets, but are about an 8-12week turnaround.. never had a good experience with them but. maybe acl? i've gotten a custom copper headgasket made for an rb30 before with an o-ringed head.. they're a good very cheap setup to use.. i think the gasket itself was about $90
