Has anyone shortened stick & fitted gearknob?

just wondered if it was the same procedure as K11 ie hack off old knob, saw stick down a bit and fit new knob?

Don't think it's that simple. The gearknob on the 160 looks alot better made, which may involve more work
Could be wrong though.

To be honest, getting it off the K11 was a #####. Had to saw most of the way through it and split it off in chunks, no WAY was it going to screw off !

use a belt wrench..... both my gearknobs on my cars have come off easily lol

they just pull off m8 takes some pulling but they do come off i know this cause i fit them

on a k11 get a tea towel over the gear knob and use a set of plyers and twist it, mine was hard to get off becuase of the glue but it should come off that way

u pull them off m8 i have done mine trust me if u try to turn it u will snap the plastic fixing underneath they do not screw on like normal 1s

on a k12 they all just pull off

u just unscrew them well mind did any by lookin at this its a 1 in a million chance of it just screwing off
