Seems my P-reg K11 Vibe has almost eaten the front wiper motor. Hardly any carbon brushes left, and there was a huge buildup of carbon dust which was shorting out across the electrodes inside, gently blowing the 20A fuse! I've cleaned up the mess, and it works again for now, but it's lost its ability to keep running until the wipers are parked - they just stay where they are when switched off.
So, if you have such a motor in known good working condition, I'd like to hear from you.
