Fitting Sony MEX-BT5000 to K12 Micra - Steering Wheel Controls Still Working?

I'm looking at replacing my factory stereo with the Sony MEX-BT5000, purely for bluetooth and iPod compatibility. Does anyone use this stereo? Does it sound superior to the factory one? And, more importantly, do the steering wheel controls (volume up/down, tuning, etc) still work exactly as before?

Can anyone comment on Argos's or Halford's installations, or, would they recommend someone to install it who can do an excellent job? Thank you.

if you really cannot install it yourself then i cant see why the professionals at both of those high street stores cannot install it properly.

dont let halfords install it, they scratched the facia surround and dashboard of my mates car

i work for halfords and if i scratched a facia we would replace it, but thats just my branch i would of took my claim further with the store at hand.
