Just bought a car to tinker with while I get my driving lessons+practical out of the way. It's an M Reg 1.0 K11 CVT which will be handy since my GF prefers automatics.
I plan to get the Aux belts done as they look old, and am already changing all four tyres after being sitting for months they're showing signs of being perished.
Curious about the CVT fluids, what is recommended, and what is snake oil that could do it harm? I'm on a limited budget so don't fancy having to change the whole transmission due to ballsing it up!.
Other than a few bits of welding and a new cross-member a few years back (the one on should last another MOT or two but they seem cheap enough) it's utterly mint, a previous owner obviously poured some money and love into it.
