engine swaps

i no this has been discused so if some1 could point me in the rite direction or give me some help.

are the mountings for the 1L in the same place as the GA16DE engine?

and what would the insurace diffrence be? im think a lot!

no the mounts will be very different and insurance could be similair to a corsa GSi at 17 years old, probably more with it been a engine transpant...

The mounts are diffrent.......and if you use a nissan engine i think you can tell them and they check the job and will if it is ok.. they will rejegister it as a standerd 1.6 micra (this is what i am told so dont be rude if i am rong).......


this will mean that it wil not be that bad......but ask Nex cos he is planning on doing somthig!!!

the only way to find out on insurance is to phone your insurers up

the mounts are totally different..i dont care what anyone says,each mount(all 4) need to be modded
