Duplex Exhaust

im thinkin about gettin my local mechanic to make me a custom duplex exhaust system. i just looked under my car and realised that the spair tyre compartment sits lower than i thought leavin hardly any room to run a pipe or a backbox,

is it possible to cut the spair compartment out and weld a new plate to the bottom of the boot?

has anybody ever had duplex eshausts on a micra?

any thoughts or comments would be appreciated

wouldn't it be possible to run 4-2 then bring the 2 out with straight pipes seperately? then just use a balance pipe at the end?
