door strip removal

today i removed ONE door strip off the right hand side passengers door, it took over one frickin hour... petrol....loads of rags a hair drier and a bad finger, looks nice, but gonna have to spend alllllll day tomorrow to get the rest of them removed

hmmm..my dad bought that the other day for me, it doesnt seem to do anything....

I used all sorts. WD40, car polish, hair drier, toffee wheel, bum rag, credit card and a bit of elbow grease.

Toffee wheel was most effective but wasn't terribly quick or neat and using it too quickly will wear it down and can burn the paint.

In the end I used the credit card to lift most off then a toffee wheel to remove the rest.

Ufff a pain on the ass for me. I finally sanded it... now i have to paint it :-/
