central locking upgrade

hi i was wondering if anybody can help!!!???
ermm... i've looked at the guide on the diy section but it was for the whole kit... my micra already has central locking but i was going to add remte control on to it... does any one know where the standard central locking unit is located

look under the steering wheel above the pedals......you will have to lay flat...tricky to see otherwise?

its a black box (with two different connector blocks attached to a metal bracket (that holds it in place) but you can slide it off

i do belive off memory it slides.....i think mine did!!

it should be on a "bent bracket"?............just slide it down the runners?

yes it does slide off but know too dark to do the mod... but thank you very much your a life saver!

good luck with it. im looking to add remote central locking to mine.......but first i have to find out why i only have central locking from passenger door and not drivers ;-( its annoying!!!

make a guide if feel up to it....no pressure though as i may do one if i do it!!!
