Brake Noise - Question

Hi all,

YUestrerday I noticed a strange noise when I brake.
It's difficult to describe but imagine a home desk fan spinning then resting a piece of paper against the blades whilst they spin.

A fast whirring type buzz.

Is it the grooves in the disc against the pads?

I'm uploading a video that highlights the issue (Very poorly)!

When I have drilled and grooved discs I always had a buzzing blowing sound off them, always thought it was just the air going between the grooves and the pads that made the noise

Did you take the edges off your pads?
You're meant too with those discs for this exact reason
Easy peasy... sand paper... brake pad... sand edges at a 45 degree angle... problem solved

Greenstuff pads are already chamfered/ramped

Still a sharp machine chamfering though eh

Although... if that doesn't solve it. The usual check grease and anti rattle clips applies

Its not unheard of to have a little grit in the cooling gap of the pads
