Bonnet spacers

iv got some bonnet spacers (25mm) and they are causing the bonnet to rub the top of the wing and has stripped the paint off, I was wondering what's the largest spacers you can have without the panels rubbing or any ideas on how to stop them rubbing?

Good news lads and lasses, 25mm spacers do fit, just, you will have to have to modify the plastic trim under the windscreen a bit to account for the corners of the bonnet, however you can just file them down a bit, the easiest way I found to get them in was having the bonnet half open and lifting the bonnet upwards so it comes out and over the top of the wing to avoid scratibg the paint, use a old rag for added protection
