black smoke

when i start the car up in the morning i get black smoke out of the exhaust for about the first minute then it returns to normal.

i have just fitted an ashley competition backbox in the past two weeks and have only noticed it since then

any ideas???

Probally jst ####e clearing in that, so don't worry about it mate.

I get ####e from mine too, rev it hard and see if water comes out, I get people to stand behind car and do it!

it only does it when i first start it for about a min then clears

could possibly just be running slightly rich on start up.....but if it clears then doubt it'll cause any problems.

if you get water out your exhaust its just condensation thats in the exhaust but black smoke i dunno

Could just be carbon deposits that have gotten loosened, water is supposed to come out of car exhausts, as long as you don't get it when driving/all the time then you should be fine
