Im supposing this is the right place for this thread as my car isnt a k10, k11, k12 or japanese for that matter, its a *cough* Renault Clio *cough*

I have a question, iv fitted a peco big bore 2 on it, an it does the biz, but....when i start her up first thing in the morning, or when the engine is cold the exhaust sounds crap, not a lot of noise to it at all, but once the engine is warmed up it sounds like a dream

why is this?? is it anything to do wi the fact that it still has the cat?

I've got a straight thru exhaust on my k10 and have much the same.. The engine doesn't really run right until it's warm, when cold mine sounds like it's missing (though it isn't) but gets better when warm.

Imagine your bbox amplifies the sound your exhaust makes so any time it doesn't sound right your bbox will make it sound 10x worse...

If it sounds fine when warm just ignore it unless you have any other probs!
