Axle stands

im embarking on getting some axle stands. Just wondered if there were any worth getting/avoiding?
Seen that there are y shaped ones and others have a wide platform.
Just wondering which work best with Micras...??

are folding ones more dodgy/more prone to failure than the fixed/non folding ones??

never had a problem with either mate but the folding ones like the link are good as they take up alot less space!

These from the link are perfect.
I bought exactly same ones from LIDL for 10 euros.
And they do the job so far with no problem.
I use them every time when servicing my Micra.

i personally dont like the folding ones as they dont give alot of height underneath the car to work. I use 6 ton axel stands that are massive. But the folding ones are good for changing wheels exhaust stuff and gear linkage stuff and general servicing so if that what they for then they are perfect for your needs and a decent price.
