Almera airbox dimensions

Hi.

I'm going to be making some molds soon to vacuum form some parts for a custom air-intake for my 1.0 k11. I'm going to use an almera airbox but at the moment my local scrapyard is closed due to the weather.

If anyone has an Almera airbox I would be very grateful if you could measure it and tell me the diameter of the tube leading into it. i.e. the part which protrudes out for the resonator/cold air feed to clamp down onto. I need this dimension before I can make the wooden molds and since I only have one day to do the vacuum forming in early january I probably won't be able to get my hands on one before then.

ID is 62mm
OD is 70mm

CHECK WITH SEB ABOUT THE ID AS IM NOT SURE.


I used this in my cold air feed.

I only needed the OD so thanks. I'm using a length of flexible silicone hose with a smooth internal bore for not much more than that. Plus it matches the colour of my car.

I'm doing something similar to you but with the hose going to an MR2 mk1 vent on the bonnet.
