Adding a aftermarket tacho

Hi all

I have a tacho ready to install into my Micra, just wanting some thoughts on where to tap into the tacho pulse signal (blue wire)?

Are most people connecting at the distributor or under the dash? Has anyone got a OBD style plug to wire a tacho in?

If its a series 1, there will be a wire going all the way to the cluster. It is series 2 it well go to the ecu but no further. My old series 2 I ran it straight from dizzy (blue wire)

You can run from the connector that the blue wire runs too, that's what I have done
