200K Service

Hey guys,
My micra will have 200,000 km on it within a week! I feel so happy that its running so damn well even at its old age. But also sad that its getting old.

So Im gonna give it a real good service.

So far my checklist is (edited)
1. Oil + Filter
2. Air Filter
3. Fuel Filter
4. TB cleaner
5. Spark plugs
6. Leads
7. Dizzy Parts
8. Gearbox Oil
9. Check Belts and suspension
10. Coolant Flush
11. Clutch Inspection
12. Suspension Inspection

Anything else I could bathe my micra in?
PS. Im a firm believer in "If it aint broke, dont fix it" so i wont be getting a rebuild or anything that drastic till its needed.

LEads + dizzy cap + rotor arm. Also do us all a favour and call nissan and find out what else we can replace inside the distributor.

Some things are better being replaced before they go and break on us...

check belts and replace if necessary
gearbox oil
bleed brakes
check suspension components for wear

Hi Toma,

I would suggest checking the brake pads, brake pipes & adjusting the hand brake cable.

It may also be worth flushing the cooling system and putting in fresh coolant ?.

Checking the adjustment of the clutch pedal matches the specs in the Haynes manual.

Brakes have been check, replaced and well looked after. So they're all fine.

Shock absorbers? Also, if you have air con and power steering, get them checked as well. Congrats on the 200,000klms, may you have many more enjoyable kilometres in your little car.
