1999 T plate k11

T plate k11, originally 1.o it now has a 1.3 in it. 3 door colour is AP0 canibar red IIRC, 35k miles, on original engine, the 1.3 is from a 70k car. i can supply the original 1.0 engine with the car if you like. this car was a cat C, fully repaired, only needed a front cross member and bumper. all pics of the damage are in my blog and of the repairs. new vibe component speakers fitted last month.

the car is rust free

MOT till end november, tax is now up as of 30/6/12 car is now SORN on my driveway

1999 T plate Nissan Micra K11

I purchased the car last year at a salvage yard as a category C. Uneconomical to repair. I wanted a cheap daily run about

and this was ideal, very little work required to get it sorted.

only 30K miles!! CG10DE engine old chap owned it.

I got it home and started the repair work.It needed a new front bumper, lower front crossmember, pair of headlights and

radiator. the bonet had been pushed in a little, but I pulled it back out a tad, its not purfect and could do with pulling

out a little more if you were fussy.

All repair work done, was MOT'd end of november 2011 then VIC tested at VOSA in the December 2011. been my little beasty

since then.

I then wanted a little more from it and swapped out the 1.0 engine for a 1.3. this is not noted on the V5, although I did

actually inform the insurance, not that it made a difference to my policy somehow :/ I also fitted a brand new LUK clutch

kit when I swapped the engine for peice of mind.

coilovers followed, peter lloyd exhaust system, various alloy wheels, Nissan March front bumper recently, New Vibe slick 6

component speakers just last month, black headlights. oh it also has a leather primera sport steering wheel that will be

staying in it.

however I had a bit of luck with another car and this has to go, as much as I would like to keep it because it is such fun.

it is now pretty much standard, appart from the black headlights, March front bumper and 1.3 engine. and currently looks

The original 30k engine is included in the sale for free should you want it, as well as the UK spec front bumper.

Waiting for a dry evening this week when I will wash it and do more pics of it as it is. there is a dent on the very top of the tailgate. small dent on the nearside wing. I will not be removing the vibe components, but I will be removing my USB head unit and fitting the original stereo back in, but will include the ISO adapter leads for the nissan system should you want to fit your own cd player.

Is it using a 1.3 or 1.0 gear box?

The original 1.0 gearbox matex, and the original 1.0 flywheel swapped onto the 1.3, flyer!!
