17" wheels & suspension

Hi guys, I'm from Sydney Australia.
I have a 2009 nissan micra k12 automatic. Everything is standard. I want to put in 17" lenso s2 wheels and lower the car. Would it be possible to lower the car with those wheels?
I want to get a sound system put into it too. Anything I should look out for?
Any other suggestions of anything else I can do to modify the car.

Lowering a bit on 17s should be fine.
How low was you thinking?

Just stick with rubber band tyres
My k12 has the 16" Sport (uk spdc) rims and has the same rolling radius as my mums with the more "standard" 15" alloys
185/50 R16 and 175/60 R15 respectively
Your ride may be stiffer too, but you should be able to get those wheels under the arches without issue.

There are a couple of k12 owners on here that have lowered them
A search through some of the k12 blogs may help you figure out how low you can go without causing yourself a mischief
