160sr fault or not ?

my wife has the 160 sr and i noticed the other day that when you rev the car it seems to hold the rev for a few seconds then return to normal. starts fine runs great. just the reving i said to her dont think thats right and she said its been like that since she bought the car. second hand only 24k ex mobility.. any help would be great it might be thats normal.. i have no idea on the 160sr. any other micra i have had its as quick as you take foot off the rev drops.

My 160SR was the same from new, I think it's because it has an electronic throttle and its like a buffer? But yeah I found it to be normal however it's something worrying you then maybe have a word with your local dealer?
