Hi;
as some of you may already be aware, in september I will do a Paris - Corsica trip into the 1.0L black K11, two big guys inside, me and my cousin, minimum luggages.

-I was thinking about removing the back seats to earn some weight, is it worth it?
-Oil and coolant will be renewed just before the trip.
-I will also load the tires with a slighty superior pressure.
-Which speed with which gear is the most economical?
-I'm asking because I'm hesitating about taking expensive highway, because it's expensive (80eurosX2) and because I don't think we will get good MPG at 110KMH.
-Rest the car after how many KM done?

Do you have any other tips?

aslong as your engines running close to idle so 1000 rpms this will use the least fuel

so into 5th and just cruise at 80 - 90 kmph

less weight is better (less to carry)

good luck

Thanks for the advice Martin, I was thinking that best mpg was aroung 2500RPM. So the lower the better?
Much appreciated !

Yep lower is better. can do 25/30mph in 5th gear. because mine is a 1.3 it is literally just above 1000rpm :)
