over in ireland alot people advertise micra's as 1.1's when they are 1.0l's. But if there trying to sell it with a young person in mind its a 1.0l .lol

In that case it would be a 1.3, like the 1.3 is a 1275cc engine.

Probably just thinks it is a 1.1

there is no 1.1 engine. nor is there a 1225cc engine:

i've seen 1.1 micras advertised before, usually by garages that specialise in say ford/vauxhall and have no idea about them. like when you find 160SR k12's advertised as one of only 500 made with 160bhp....
