1.0 coilpack question

My 1.0 coilpack engine has been rattling a few days and today it got very bad. As engines are available cheap I am thinking it might be easier to replace the engine than try to fix, however most are non coilpack, can they be fitted to coilpack cars and is the 1.3 engine a straight swap into a 1.0

hi ollie, the wiring, fueling and sensor setup is quite different between the 2 types, but you may be able to fit the 1.0 coilpack head onto a 1.3 block

1.4,s are pretty rare, but there are plenty of 1.0,s (c/p) in yards in brum, where abouts are you ollie ?

2 choices, find another coil pack engine, or find a 1.3 and get the complete engine, gearbox, wiring loom, ecu, out of it.

Bit of a pain either way.
