No that was actually on purpose because he broke the secret that he was the "stig" in his book so they had to kill him off.............not literally though!

on the aygo football, most of the drivers are 'the stig' according to another site. ben collins is also in the line-up. i've also heard about a female stig aswell. they have more than one just incase of other commitments of the stigs.

It was speculated that Damon Hill was the stig, doesn't mean its true!

Remember us British don't need proof, if we hear it somewhere that's good enough.

The stig is the stig! he was born wearing a race helmet and suit!

That would've hurt giving birth, well more than usual, unless he has upgraded his helmet as he got older.

I hate it that people have to know who he (or she) is. It's nice not knowing who it is, makes it interesting.

Oh yeah wouldn't be as fun as watching a driver you already know about, bit like knowing how a magic trick is done.

If you want to be sure who it is compare pictures of a known racing driver with stig. Look for similarities in heights including knees, waist, shoulders and even length of arms. Then you can be pretty sure who it is.
