I just change the oil myself each year and it was an engine swap when I bought it. It run fine for last 5 years. You might be right I could get that looked at.

96 super s engine starting to sound like a diesel engine at idle and low RPM particularly in 1st and 2nd. Its just a rattly chuggy sound. Doesn't seem to effect performance much it just sounds bad. any ideas?

My super S needs a respray bad, the clear coat is peeling all over. Looking to get a cheap respray maybe in a new colour. any options please let me know. thanks

So battery keeps draining by the morning. Finally realized the rear lights are on. Won't turn off. Anyone know why this has happened? I have disconnected them. Cheers

what bearing should i ask for? did it have a code? this could be a good cheap option me instead of finding an entire gear box, even though they will still have to drop the box out to do it.

when i drive there is a grinding sound, it's been getting louder over the weeks and now people actually turn and look when i drive past lol At a stand still and out of gear, the sound is a rattling from the front. If i clutch in when driving or standing still - the noise just simply goes away...

Hi Guys, I had a noisy clutch issue - well i thought that's what it was - turns out the gearbox is the issue after paying 500 for a new clutch install. So... i guess does anyone have a manual gearbox in the inner city melb area i could buy off them of can anyone suggest where to find one...

yep the whirring (which is starting so sound louder and very grindy now since the last week) is coming from under the bonnet. Bearings is what i was thinking too. so yeah i think you're right unfortunately. Asdame - that is an awesome walkthrough. thanks for spending the time writing that!

hmmm....not spending money then.....i have actually tried clamps before but they never grip. the angles on the oil filter are so slight that and prone to warp, so no grip, they do just slip under pressure. the filters with the nut on the end would be the bullet proof solution
