hrmm... i get a faint scrape sound more its more like a "scheeeen" sound but very quiet. i have a feeling its just normal car sounds, but i don't know! lol

haha. i pulled mine out, padded the little plate thing with thin foam stuff then realised those scrivets wouldnt fit anymore... so i bought some new ones, which didnt fit properly... so i just jammed it all in. it stopped squeaking, but there're still stacks more!

G'day!! OK, so I'm finally about to go to my mechanic and get him to do a new cat back exhaust and air intake for me, BUT i have some questions for you guys! Keep in mind that I don't want to spend big money. I've got a few quotes and am looking at under $300 for exhaust and less for the air...

hey thanks for that nudger! i gotta check my book and see when im due for oil change etc. ill prolly just see what stuff my mechanic uses n if its not as good as what's been recommended then ill buy it n get him to do it.

Here's a random question for clever people! What kinds of oils, coolant, brake fluid and whatever else there is, should i put in my 96 K11 Lx? - just so it can run its best! Seems a dumb question, but it remains a mystery to me! Thanks in advance, beth

personally i don't know a lot. BUT i did check with my mechanic whether getting a high flow cat would be worthwhile a long with a new cat back exhaust. He said the cat really wouldn't do much at all, and that some people are quite willing to pay big bucks for them when in some cases they do the...
