I know what you mean, I sold my Micra over a year ago and Moved to a Citroen C2 GT (shown below) But I still think the Micra was much better built! I Miss it :(

Yep I can also Comfirm you Need the 'Ground Loop Isolator'. You need to link it between the headunit and the amplifer. That will do the job for sure! I had this problem in mine when installing an amplifer for the first time.

After selling my micra over 8 Months ago now Ive just started seeing it again around my area! Brings back memories. Its still got all the stuff I did to it and it looked pretty clean (Not as clean as I kept it, grr).

Yeh thats the best option, by the drivers side light as there is plenty of room! take a look at what I did when I owned a Nissan Micra (I miss it).
