    Modded AirPan for the K10

This just makes it sound better, or at least it tries to hide the "ford fiesta" sound a bit :P Other than that, it's completely useless but keeps you busy for some time and you can spend some quality time with your beloved car  But looks good man, better than mine :D

    Global disribution of members

Well.. it might come as a shock, but as far as I've gathered they're not that good with english in France :D I don't see a lot of French people on english boards in general.

    4th gear

I know from the racetrack they barely use a clutch too. But then again those gearboxes are most likely to be designed to work that way, a micra gearbox is not.

Wooohoo! Love this stuff :D Just hope it's true about her and the boss, otherwise it's kinda nasty :P

    In Celebration Of.....Neighbours

lol, that rap was cool. But that show was really... really... well... no idea how to put it :D Almost as if it was made for (or by?) people with mental disorder. fwn

    exhaust bore size?

Can't you just measure it from your car? I mean, measure it from the outside and suppose it's a few mm thick, then you have a good idea what you need to make.

    Dials for K10 Super S

That all depends on how well you are with A. photoshop and B. scissors :D When using a good quality printer, with good quality paper and using the correct dpi/resolution results can be awesome. But I have to admit, I've seen an example or two (even here on the forums) of dials that indeed look...

    Plans for 2007!

Well, almost the same as 2006 lol (only this year hopefully some more time). Making a custom inlet manifold + bike carbs Making a custom exhaust manifold Get some lowering springs (and fit them :D ) Last year was disaster, also for micra modding, on this side. So hopefully better...

    "Strength" MA10 V's MA12: Fact or Fiction

Hmm, I'll be having a good look then next time I'm removing the inlet manifold. It seems like I have a 31b and 18b here. I'll be doing some manifold+carb work soon so I can see if no one already peeked at it. Should be interesting enough to check out at least! :)

    "Strength" MA10 V's MA12: Fact or Fiction

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing with the gaskets. If the ports would be bigger, bigger gaskets specially for those engines should be available. But they don't. Interesting info bob about those different heads. If the 31b is the one with higher compression, wouldn't you see a small gain...

    Dodgy Drivers Door

Old school method of fixing that (the last one, other problem needs new pins etc) would be to put a towel or something at the front bottom of the door and then bend it just a little bit. (towel there so it doesn't close). Or, do the window all the way down and then bend the top a little bit...

Give respect to my well trained fish...

They might last longer if you have some bubbles and/or a plant in there :) (or did I miss that in the screen?). Anyway, clever fishy :D

    "Strength" MA10 V's MA12: Fact or Fiction

Where should one see if there are larger ports? If it's at the exhaust or inlet it makes no difference because there is only one set of gaskets available afaik (usuable for both ma10 and ma12, if we are talking about those inlet/outlet ports that is :D ). Also I'm using a MA12 from an ECC one...

    head gasket leak

Hmm.. well I don't think it will go down that much would it? Although it can't hurt to check the cambelt and do the tensioner thing I guess :D

    head gasket leak

Hmm.. if you changed the headgasket and torqued it correctly I don't really see much of a reason to torque it again. You could try and do it again with normal figures (don't torqued it more than needed) and see if that helps. Although it should have been ok to start with. Here the dutch version...

    head gasket leak

Ah, that seems like an important piece of information there :) In that case it might be handy to re-torque it again (doing according to haynes specs). How did you torgued it first? Becasue it has to be done in a certain sequence and in a few steps if I remember correctly.

    Better heatsink advice

You could try and find a replacement cooler for your graphics card. Even better, Arctic Cooling also have some nice VGA coolers which can be found not too expensive. And I don't think you go too far at all in your quest for a more silent computer :D With my computer you almost can't hear any...

    Better heatsink advice

Usually Zalman makes nice quiet coolers. Some of them aren't too expensive either. The one I use in my computer which is very quiet is the 'Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro (link)' (well, I have the AMD version, but I don't think the intel would be that much different). Around here one of these...
