i just bought a used ecu to replace my damaged ecu..obd2 scanner says immobiliser problem then upon inspection, my car has no immobiliser on ignition barrel (the black siemens thing). Cant start it..cant code it since no immo code..im on dead end now please help. Thanks!

hi, i had a dead ecu and i am swapping it with a used ecu..however i dont have any information with my own VIN. Tried googling it and some say it needs reprogram..how do u reprogram it if its vin specific? Or anyone tried swapping ecu? Any experience? I just want it to work like normal again..

its strange because everytime my gear shifter is on manual, the dashboard rattles but when i move it on left position (before reaching 1st gear) the sound disappears and reappears when i put it back on the center.
